Can anyone post the aarohanam & avarohanam of Kannada Bangala which is the ragam of the kriti Renuka Devi composed by Dikshitar ?

  I think the scale is a straight one
  SRMPDS|SDPMGRS|-Just like malahari. In fact I would like to know others views on what differences[albeit subtle] they perceive in these 2 ragas. KB being heard rarely, makesit difficult to appreciate the difference.Sri.R.R.Keshavamurthy in his "rAgalakSana maTTu rAgakOSa2 describes it as akin to sAveri.
  The rAgalakSana Sloka is
  "rAgah karnAtabangALaSShaDavo gagrahAnvitah |
  nivarjah prAtarudgeyo Arohegacyutah kvacit ||"
  some of the prayogas in the rAga are
  'ri/mApa', ri/mamapa, pa/damapa', ma/damagari', ri/mAgari' & magama.

  What might make it more difficult to appreciate the rAgaswarUpa is that in SAveri, nivarjya prayogas are quite common and ranjaka as well. Would like to know others thoughts
