How old does a Carnatic Vocalist / Violinist get before he is not called 'young' anymore?
I am writing a review, and am not sure if the artists can be called young. They are about 40 years old.

  In my opinion, upto age 35 is considered Youth.
  If one is above 35 - upto 55 should be Mid-Aged.
  In order to address your need, why dont you address them as UPCOMING if they are not yet at their hay days OR use POPULAR if they are really(!) at their best.
