This is "gaNesha gAyatri mantraM" on Lord gaNesha, and not a shlokam. It has only three lines, a format governed by the metre (chhandas) of the standard gAyatri mantra. There is a whole set of such gayatris on various deities, all having the same format:
xxxx Aya vidmahe
xxxx Aya dhImahi
tanno xxxx pracodayAt.
(where the three occurances of xxxx has to be substituted with the name(s) of the particular god/goddess with three different attributes for the three xxxx. In this case, it is
ekadantAya vidmahe (not vithmahe)
vakratuNDAya dhImahi
tanno dantiH pracodayAt.
(The version I have heard reads:
tat-puriShAya vidmahe
vakratuNDAya dhImahi
tanno dantiH pracodayAt.

Hi PPN,
Thanks for correcting me. Of course, I knew that the three lines goes with different god/godess such as Narayana, siridi baba even with ayyappan, as far as I know.
Can u tell me the meaning, because my 4 year old son raised this query, particularly for the word as I mentioned earlier.
Tried in so many websites, got other/s meaning, but not with this one.
Bye

It means:
We devote our thought to the one-tusked Lord.
We meditate upon Him who has a curved trunk. May the tusked One guide us on the right path
