hi,
i would like to learn ragas and distinguish between them. i would be more thankful if i can receieve through emails.

why dont you try www.karnatik.com...
it has about 1000 ragas -carnatic

Hi manjula, I have not learnt carnatic music in the formal way but, by regular listening , i have reached a commendable state of knowledge. I may not be able to tell you the difference between panduvarali and poorvi kalyani with notations, but certainly can identify the raga.

I am sure, you will also be able to do this , by constant listening
