hi
If u listen to DK Jayaraman's recordings with his students u can hear a high pitch female voice(probably that of a yooung girl). Can anyone point out who is that student?
I guess she is Nithyasree? is she?

  This book contains many songs popularized by DKJ and was notated by his disciple Varalakshmi. She is, I believe, a grade 'A' artist in AIR. Her maiden name was Varalakshmi Rajagopalan. . She may be married by now; there is one Varalakshmi Anandakumar who sings at Music season at Chennai; she may be the same person I'm referring to.
