mr,
I don't exactly understand what you want!
//Is there a way i can encode this TSCII Tamil format into english.//
YOu want to convert a TSCII Tamil text to Romanised Tamil text? - which appears like:
thirumaruthamunthuRai sEr punaRkaN thuyppAr
thAmam thalai punai pEem n-Ir vaiyai!
If that is the case you can use Anjal text converter. Download free at:
http://www.murasu.com/downloads/

Idiappam: mr wants to convert the TSC11 text directly into roman characters. Murasu Anjal font will only convert TSC11 into tamil (readable) text. For a person who does not know how to read tamil, this would be useless. However if the text is converted to roman characters, one can at least read without the need to understand what the words mean.

Ok, I get it. The Murasu Anjal text converter can be used, to convert TSCII encoding into Roman characters. I have tried that! It is a simple software with 'help' features! It converts from 'various endocingis' to 'various encodings'
Download the tamil text converter at: - it is the last one on the page;

There are other Tamil text converters to convert TSCII to english transliteration at:
http://www.infitt.org/converters/
I tried 'TSCConverter' - item no 2 on the page: I works superbly!

Ma'am Meena,
Just curious! Did that converter work as you wanted? Some feedback please!

Idiappam: I sent her the converted file; in fact she tried it herself but the results were not "perfect" as you claimed. I can send you both the converted version and the ITRANS version for comparison if you like. Perhaps Meena can reply to you as well.

Thank you Mr, Lakshman, I will wait for the your mail. perhaps, I will try to create a MTX file for murasu converter to suit Mdm Meena's requirement. That would make things easier to read the tamil text!

I think Murasu Anjal's converter is the best, closest to what is prefered and should be sufficient for reading the Tamil Text! What do you say!
If you find it ok, then download murasu anjal, which comes with TSC to Romam converter! Try it and let me know! First you got to save you tamil text in a document or txt file!
