ANYBODY INTERESTED IN LEARNING CARNATIC FLUTE THROUGH ONLINE LESSONS?

  To whom it may concern, I have recently tried to make contact with Sridhar regarding flute lessons and have not gotten a response. In the past, he has been connected with Raghuwind and tends to connect students with Raghu to buy flutes or get lessons. I am very concerned that anyone that connects with these individuals will get promises but as soon as money changes hands, no lessons. I have emailed Sridhar recently but no response. I am still hopeful that these people will honor their committments but if anyone else has had problems with these characters, please contact me. If anyone has suggestions on getting in touch with either Sridhar or Raghu, please let me know. If anyone has suggestions on getting what I paid for, please let me know.

  I would caution anyone using Sridhar to learn carnatic flute online. I have emailed him several times without response after paying for lessons. It would be a service by this website to remove his response so other flute players are not ensnared by Raghu's group. I am still hoping someone will provide a way to contact Raghu or Sridhar so that they can provide the lessons I paid for.

  To those interested in learning Carnatic music, I would strongly suggest several websites that provide alot of information for free. There are many people kind enough to write basic information. I would not send money to individuals like Sridhar, whose name appears at the top of this page. Sridhar's teacher, Raghu dishonors teachers everywhere by taking money, then ignoring students. Also, beware, this website is periodically edited to remove cautions.

  I Agree with Mark Chandler. I had similar experience with Mr.Ragu
  So be cautious with Mr.ragu. And Sridhar is Brother of Mr.ragu
  They are strongly associated.
  Beware guys.

  One Mr.Raghu or Shridhar will not represent all flute teachers. A good friend of mine take classes through online from Mr.Dasarathy from Chennai. When he had to move to some other place, where he has no chances of surfing, on his request Mr.Dasarathy sent him three audio cassettes 60 min. each. he is practicing when ever he got leisure. So please dont compare others with Mr.Raghu or shridhar.
