We had been to tirupathi, few days before brahmotsava.
Demand was in its peak for cottages, darshan, bookings for seva, or anything to do with saying a 'hi' to lord balaji.
WE were offered 2500 each for a particular seva, which we refused. Shocking to see, God being commercialised. (To be precise, MAN COMMERCIALISING GOD)
After all struggles and hardships, when we finally entered the arena, "jaragandi" was the word ringing in all our ears.
No one to be blamed! or is it the mankind?
When I was just reaching the karpagruha, I opened my handbag to take out a hanky, to blow my daughter's running nose....only to hear....
"Look even at this hour, these ladies want lisptick and makeup before god!!!"
It sure hurts! Looked like my hard luck!
When finally for a split second I did see the god, I was amazed, and serenity filled me.
Somethin beyond all these commercialising, still work magic in tirupathi.

I totally agree with you. Atleast they should not block the view of the "karpagraham".

Shakthi,
I would like to tell you some thing regarding your statement:
"God being commercialised. (To be precise, MAN COMMERCIALISING GOD) "
There lies no wonder that you have wondered this happening in that Hills.
You might have even mistaken god for a moment, just think of the poor lord who runs behind each and every devotee and does seva to them.
He has to hear each and every living beings wishes and has to give boons to them accordingly to their fate (This needs calculation of his / her goods and bads).
So god doesn't have time to look on all these cheatings then and there and he may not be punishing them instantly.
Perumal or Narayana is the lord for Justice(Neethi vanavan), But there is for sure that they will treated worstly one or the other day.
Kindly do not mistake lord for the things done by FOOLS, IF YOU DID SO.
