Sorry for opening again a topic on water sharing.
Tamilnadu fights with Kerala for Bhavani water on one side and never obliges its commintment on Parambikulam-aaliyar dam on water sharing, on the other.
People in Cuddalore doesn't want to give water to chennai because it is not enough for them.
People in Thanjavur delta want to cultivate only paddy which is not used in Tamilnadu mostly(it is sent to Kerala).THey are adamant and hence require huge quantities of water.
No dam is built in TN since 1960's. No lake is desilted either.
With this much of infighting, How can we expect cauvery from Karnataka.
No wonder the aliens Ruled INDIA for More than 400 years.

  I referred to the british, Portugese, and the french. They invaded us because there was no unity in us and it prevails till today when a dam was opened in the constituency of sattankulam where elections are to be held shortly, The villages upfront diverted water to their ponds first.
