Rajinikant in a dramatic move has stated that he would not participate in the protest to be organised by the tamil film world at mettur as this will not solve the cauvery water issue.Is his justification right?Does he really feel so or he wants to avoid any embarassment that may arise if he participates in the protest?

  I think "good shepherd" image of MGR is designed by his movies and most of the uneducated people bellieved it.
  
  But in Rajini era, most of the people identified the difference between Real and Reel. But the problem of common educated tamil is to believe the media. Media is behind the image of Rajini, very well cutivated by producers and Cinema persons(bcoz they barely needed 'someone' as idol for their business and it happened to be Rajini) and later by Rajini himself..

  I remember this little old lady by name Chinna Thayee (or is it Chinna Ponnu?), an illiterate woman to who stood up for the rights of her fellow agriculture laborers and made a difference in the lives of those, whose cause she fought for. Yes, she is the same one who was awarded some recognition by the PM Vajpayee. Yes, she is the same lady whose feet Vajpayee touched. Saradha, those are the real life heroes.   Most of People from lower side of Our society treats Flims as Single,Cost effective entertainment.They want to forget their daily chaos atleast in those 3 hours and identifies him/herself with hero and relives in a fanatasy.
  
  They instantly get happy and relives along with his favourite hero, while he Bashes those Policemen or Rowdies or fooling Around with Best female in the flim , which they cant do in real life.
  
  They slowly but Surely would start Believing the Hero as Portrayed.If this is indeed Right Cause for the public behaviour,You can't blame them for voting for such a Hero ???

  If Rajni wants to sympathise with Tamils, he being a senior actor should have consulted all the senior actors. He should have gone to Karnataka to meet the chief minister and should have sugested him to abide by Supreme court verdict, instead he wants to talk to PM Vajpayee, all saving himself.
