//Nothing wrong in having the name 'Tamil nadu' and Anna never promised you ,just because he changed the name everything will be allright.

Hi Milton,
I'm not against the name 'Tamilnadu'..
But I think u didn't notice that Karunadhi claiming that it was his achievements. (Though everybody forgot that Sivapragash Nadar has died in the Unnaviradham claiming to change the state to Tamilnadu)..
What happens after this? They change the name of everything and claim that these are their achievements. Even the corps are called after Muka & JJ. There was unnecessary fights betwn two parties on naming the Film City. The name of the Disticts have been flip-flopping, so much fights on the name of the Transports.. etc., etc.,
Thank God! The Railway station has not been given the name'Perarignar Anna naduvakath thodarunthu nilaiyam'.

No wonder tamil nadu and tamils are in the same level as they were several centuries ago. Inspite of the fact that tamil civilisation is one of the oldest, it is a pity they just keep talking about this useless complicated language when the entire world is marching ahead to acheive greater things. It is just used by greedy politicians and other vested interest to acheive their personal ends.
It will not be a bad idea if tamil is scrapped and a new simple language is introduced like malay and bahasa indonesia.

I second you puppy..
Language is just an instrument to communicate. Why shud ppl concern about the language more than that.
Its understood that greedy politicians say like Tamil Vazhga because they survive using it. Why shud we follow the same path?
