Is the soul immortal? If so, where does it go when one dies?

It does'nt go anywhere. When the physical body dies the soul ceases to exist in Time-Space. It can re-enter the realm of time space in through another body such as that of a new born.

The soul does change but it undergoes spiritual evolution through its experiences and actions in the physical realm. Every act of the 'person' in the physical realm determines the future 'environment' and 'circumstances' that will come its way due to the chain reaction of events (cause and effect) set in motion by that person, maybe in the same life or the next.

Correction:The soul does change should be read as 'The soul does not change'.
