can anyone tell me what is the diff b/w V & I
i thought both were interdependant but some texts have circuits like V-I converter and vice versa. what difference does tat make. hlp pls

  Basic physics!!
  
  voltage is the potential difference between two points
  
  current is the rate of flow of electrons thru the wire!
  
  
  The relationship as per Ohm's law is V = I times R where V is the voltage, I is the current and R is the resistance!
  
  If you know the R of the circuit both can be converted to each other and said.
  
  The "multimeter" has circuits which take care of this arithmetic (Operational amplifiers, shown as a triangle in circuit diagram) are important in such circuits.
