Hi all,
We Indians are to emotionalists, compared to our western counterparts. How one contains him self away from such extreme emotions which affects their life so much.
One type of emotion, I would like to discuss is ANGER, which some one like me find it very hard to hope with, when you are too emotional you do things which you would rather not, when you are not so emotional, such emotional traumas leads to suicide!
How does one control his/her emotions?
Please discuss

Emotional outburst is your body telling the world what the status of your mind is. It is similar to any form of communication.
And as in any form of communication, if you can train yourself to express it in a controlled way, you can use it to your advantage. Actors obtain money and fame out of it, politicians like Hitler use it to inflame mob frenzy and obtain power, lovers find their intimacy, and parents teach their children - all through controlled demonstrative effects of emotion. You can even train your dog with it.
Emotional expression, like your mother tongue, is learnt during your formative years; it takes a large amount of training almost like learning a foreign language, to control it and channel it correctly to communicate what you want.
Emotional control is not to become stunted in your emotional expression like a zombie but to convey what you really want to communicate in the most effective way -as in the case like a raised eyebrow from their wives would stop most men dead in their tracks!
