MANTRAVADI "SOSIYUM " LADIES OF TAMILNADU
Topic started by Hemant (@ 203.195.208.26) on Thu Jul 3 05:05:53 .

I had some remarkable experiences of ladies in Tamilnadu who use one silver studded stick (black) and see your future from hand.
They seem to know most intimate things about you.
They also tell you what are your questions etc.
But as far as future is concerned, they are not correct.
I will be happy to hear what other hubbers have to say.

Hemant,
Palmistry....What about the lines on the palms of monkeys? This is one reason I somehow cant trust this.
You mentioned these women could tell your past, may be you answered them in their questions to you.

Hello Smily,
Since I am not a palmist, I cannot say about human or simian lines on the palms.
May be you could throw some light on the later subject'e lines......!!!

A long, long time ago, when i was barely twenty , I approached an expert palmist, to check more about my future. He was sad to see that, according the 'life line' on my right palm, I would only live till 30 years old. I have a very short 'life line'.
The next morning, I went to a renowned plastic surgeon in the country, who said he would extend my 'life-line' for about 10 dollars for every 10 years of life. I had fifty dollars in my pocket, so I had my life-line, and my life-span extended to eigthy years.
How I wish I had a few hundred dollars with me that day!

Forumhub is getting to be a place not for meaningful discussions.Every day I see jumble, smart alec type comments, filth, hatred and bad language being used.
This is a sad commentry on misuse of such a fine forum hub provided by selfless people.

Hemant
I am 100% behind what you say.
We are seeing a lot of 'internet gangsterism" these days in the Forum Hub.
On Palmistry, it is just like any other matters of faith - to believers it is God, to unbelievers it is stone.
I personally would be wary of many people who claim to be seers. There are much more frauds than genuine people.
Palmistry like horoscope and other fortune-telling is a science that is little understood for now. I would keep an open mind about it.

I guess, the lines change according to ur thoughts.
Hence, future predictions redictions may go wrong, since our thoughts keep changing.
For that matter, any kind of future predictions in any m ethod may proove wrong, since our mind is a stronger and powerful decider than the fate

Dear Hemant,
I am using some tamil words in my reply. Please tell me if you need translations if you can not understand them.
These ladies are called as 'kuRi sollum peNgaL'. It is part of the tamil culture and these people belong to a group called 'kuRavarkaL'. KuRavarkaL have been a part of the tamil land and history for a very very long time.
VaLLi, the wife of Lord Murugan was a kuRathi, and she also was very a good kuRi sollum peN. Lord Murugan is praised as 'tamiL kadavuL'. There are also tamil literature praising, and describing the lives of kuRavar. Their native lands are the forests on hills. KutRaalam is one place where their population was high. 'KutRaala kuRavanchi' was written to praise them. I think you may know 'vaanarangaL kani koduthu mandhiyOdu konjum. Mandhi sindhum kanikaLukku vaan kavikaL kenjum'.
KuRi solludhal is a traditional art, and I think in olden days their kuRi was accurate. PeNgaL will ask these kurathis whether a particular aaN will marry them etc. Even today you have mentioned that they are able to describe your past.
I think you are asking about people's real experiences and information about these peNgaL and not whether people believe it or not.
SC, there is a lot of hate and attacks on decent people and their beliefs.

Hello TamilNattan,
Thanks for the first decent reply to my question.
I am amazed at their method. If you know as to what method they use to predict future, It would be a great help.

Dear Hemant,
Thank you. Can you please give us more information about how accurate they were in telling you about your past? I also want to ask where you met them. Did they come to your house, or did you go to where they lived? How many times have you asked 'kuRi' from them? Please also tell me how many different peNgaL told 'kuRi' for you and whether they all were accurate (at least about your past). Did any of these peNgaL know your family, and your past?
There are some interesting facts about the silver, black stick they carry. KuRathikaL also used to protect the crops from the sparrows etc ('thiNai kaaththal'). They use the same stick to 'paRavaikaLai thurathudhal'. It is very interesting to see that because they had that duty in the very old times, the kuRavars today are involved in 'kuruvi pidithal' !
There is also a tamil cinema song (by TMS)
"Kurivikkaaran penjaathi
Naan kuRavan thaanadai un jaathi"
Did they look at your kai rEkai for a long time, or did they keep the silver stick on your palm, close their eyes and start singing the songs? I think they read your energy through the silver rod and may not be reading the rEkai very much.
Please give us more information.
I praise their history so much. Since Lord Murugan's wife is from this group of people we have to assume that their culture is as old as Murugan !!

There were kuravar dynasties in India. Kanyakumari is reputed to have had a Kuravar king at some point in time.

Punnahai,
I mentioned their relationship to Lord Murugan, and their great history so that people will not start attacking them and their tradition here.
Do you have any information on how they tell 'kuRi' whether it is based on energy from the palm, or by reading the rEkai, whether there is any relationship to 'naadi sOsiyum' etc??

"so that people will not start attacking them and their tradition here.
"
This is why I also wrote about the Kurvar kings.
No, I don't know about rekai, kuri, nadi josiyam etc. although I have heard about these. I have my own doubts about rekai because of the existence of rekai in monkeys too. Then again, who knows, may be monkey's rekai tells about its life :).

Dear Mr. Hemant,
In ForumHub it has become very difficult to discuss about a topic of someone's true interest. I think decent discussions are not possible in ForumHub like you mentioned before. We can continue if there is a change..

TN:
Why this sudden change of heart? Why is everyone in the "my way or high way" mode? If I have my doubts about rekai, why does that offend thsoe who are discussing? Earlier someone had asked about nadi josiyam and I had posted some references, Hemant thought most of the nadi josiyam was fake. That's ok. That's based on Hemant's experience, mine was based on some interactions I had had with a nadi josiyam expert sometime earlier. Comeon guys, we all have the right to either trust something or not and express our views. TN, I am really disappointed by your previous post....
