How true are the allegations against the 2 MNCs?
I suppose the local Indian soft-drinks manufacturers must also be drawing the same ground water the 2 MNCs are utilising. So, their drinks must also be affected. Why is there no outcry against the local drinks? Is any corruption involved?
Has Pepsi and Coke analysed their drinks outside India and what is the outcome?
If a ban is imposed on these two, then US may retaliate by sending home Indian IT personnel. Bear in mind that that US is still smarting over India's refusal to send peacekeepers to Iraq.
