I am thinking about taking up meditation, I would like to discuss about all the benefits of it, How would I attain my self at the "Niravana" stage, when you have reached the ultimate knowledge about life?
Is it possible for noraml person like me, who has been evolving around materials all my life?
I would be grateful, if some one start a healthy argument.

Dear Rahul
I am not an expert in Asto and numero, but I will try to answer what you asked. Both the fields are based on mathematics. Both are used to predict events. Scientifcally spoken, you use mathematics to predict events, example, what will the impact of a bomb blast based on the chemcials used, size, target nature etc etc. The result would theorectically be the same but not 100% because you might not have included some factors that you thought might not influence.
Based on planets movements we predict the fate of man's action in astrology. Numerolgy is closely twined with astrology in which each number is attributed to a planet. Example, sun is 1, moon is 2, jupiter is 3 etc. In numerology a general precition is only possible. Like people born on number 1, would be like the sun, very dominating, good leaders etc etc. IN astology based on the birth time one could predict events in a person very specifically. Numerology was made more popular by pythgaorus and cheiro in the west. In India we use astology to predicts things and numerolgoy to decide things, like buying a house or chosing a car number etc etc.

There are two types of meditation... As I know... but let us not circle around chakras... as in normal life we don't have time...
The one I believe is Transcendental (I doubt this spelling) meditation... It is good, I've realised.
Above all, going to temple twice in a week meets the purpose.

Dear Raghu and others,
Meditation is beyond religion. You first come out from your religious faith. If you are in India, you may go to any vazha valamudan mandram or Ulaha samathana alayam. They know what they are doing. Your visit to there is a good start, but you have to put your own effort to grow further. Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, and UK are some the countries where they doing it silently. In US, Canada and Germany also they are there, But I don’t know the exact location.
Wish you the best
Glad and love
Manu.
