Obviously, the conflict began with class privelege. It was then taken way out of proportion with the Eelam demand. Personally, it seems to me to be generational qualms which now keep the war going. Fresh, young minds can do a lot to ease the tension. Its much easier for them to make unbiased decisions when they don't have to think of 83' or 77'. Or how they share personal responsibility for young children taking up arms. This message may sound vague, may inline itself towards the radical, but at this point, only extremes will balance extremes in SL politics, and THIS radical idea is moderate compared to THOSE extremes. So, think about it.
