rajnikanth is an actor in TN giving hits 1 in 3 years now. producers,actors,actresses,film, magazines who r benefitted out of him can praise heavily. but why common tamilmen r considering him to enter into politics?

  Thanks for the posting.Srikumar deserves our sympathy.Hopefully this incident serves as a deterrent for other Tamilians from being exploited by agents and illtreated by govt officials in host country.
  The world is a dangerous place for naive people.

  My personal view:
  
  Rajni should concentrate on what he does best ie acting and providing entertainment to the masses.It will be good for him and the Tamil film industry.
  
  Kalaignar Karunanidhi aptly says "minorities can be the best man but not the bridegroom himself".I hope TNadu voters take this into consideration if Rajni does venture into politics.
  
  Furthermore TNadu needs to shift from its over zealous fanatism of expecting miracles from actors.The seat of the TNadu CM has been occupied by political thinkers like Rajaji,kingmakers like Kamaraj,intellectuals like Anna and powerful orators and shrewd politicians like MK.Lets hope the next generation of leaders are charismatic politicians who can bring in foreign investment and generate employment opportunities in TNadu.And for Gods sake lets hope he/she is a Tamil.

  To be involved in charitable activities in any part of the world,one need not name the association or grouping with an actors name.You may name it under the banner of a town/district or the project in hand.To name it in the name of an actor/politician etc creates hero worshipping.
  
  It is very disappointing to see professionals from India working outside the country being involved in this.Can we blame the village folks in TNadu when the seemingly educated ones in foreign lands are no better.

  Rajinikanth has proven time and time again through his political statements and through the mayajala "spiritual" message that he is an illiterate. He should just stick to acting and not venture into anything else.
