Estrogen pills will stop hairloss - but there will be some obvious side effects:)

>>Can some body give me some advice tp prevent hair loss ? :)),
Raghu,
Did you consider joining Hair Club for Men?
Or, would you rather take estrogen pills and wear bras?

Raghu, since I'm dashing thru without any time I hope you don't mind me saying it's a really crazy thing to worry about. Shave your head and it looks cool. My hair grows thick and my brother's lost a lot of his but he is (I honestly think) extremely handsome. Not saying you can't regain hair (don't know), but if it's your natural tendency you could waste a lot of energy, time and money trying to change it!

Raghu:
Stress is a major factor in hair related changes - for some it falls off as a clump and for some it suddenly turns prematurely gray; your recent personal experiences may have a bearing on what is happening to your hair.
Meditation is a great way to relieve stress - one hour quiet time early morning every day will equilibriate your mind and you will find life and relationships far more enjoyable.

Hi Ellen,
Some ppl(I'm one) come to discussion forums to relax themselves..it's a way to escape from the stress of daily life. When ppl consciously try to 'lighten off', their mental makeup might seem
strange to others ;-) so how reliable is the mental image that we get based on their posts in websites.

Ah. These aren't really rules and some might be obvious, or as-good-as-the-next, but you'll get the picture and I'm hoping (second time lucky) to hit the nail on the head. Rule 1, when you feel a bit helpless smile - course you can - and when you meet others think external, ie of them and things. Try to think external whenever you're in a mood and if there's a problem, address it when you're feeling sharp. Rule 2, take a good friend somewhere cheap and beautiful for a day, walk and talk. Rule 3, look up someone who should be really pleased to here from you - don't worry if they seem more successful, and don't call a scrounger. If they hang up you can ignore it or call them back (ONCE) and tell them to fook off. Ideally you can catch up over a meal or something, and don't fear being cheap, but don't scrounge. Rule 4, erm, see how you feel. If you'd like to treat your scalp somehow, ask a doctor when you're not feeling so fragile.

Speaking of stress relief... Hey, nice work Jez. I like rule no.2.
I personally find myself drawn to music. You can bring a radio out to the car and in the night, go up to the mountains or some high hill alone or not and relish in music looking up at the night sky with all the beautiful, countless, and fathomless numbers in depths of the constellations in space. I've never done this, though without music. I think music may give a different twist..
Music is a great stress reliever. Serene music like by Sarah McLachlan (I'm promoting her music, always, surreptitiously!) "Angel".
Music is just fantastic. Especially when one sings with the music, you can really get into it and sort of become one with it, especially with percussion, piano, or other instruments...
Violin is also a great wing to fly away!
Hey Raghu,
It seems no one can stop the processes that occur naturally in humans, whether it be from birth and development, puberty, middle age, old age, or death...
I say, live your life young in mind and heart, seeking enjoyment in the nature, perhaps...
It seems life is too short to concern with hair loss, so if I were you, I would shave it all off, too! It looks nice on Michael Jordan, why shouldn't it on u?
Also, in case it is not a "natural" process, make sure you get good vitamin Bs, calcium, and proteins. They are good for nails, hair...
I'd guess it is some nutritional deficit, which we all experience all the time, except when older, you experience the impact more.
Hey, don't worry too much. Maybe this is another hurdle that will enable you to eventually feel better about yourself! :)
Smiles.
