How good is World Space radio?

Will World Space continue to give free music or will it fold up like iridium? Or will they start charging hefty fees?

Technically the radio is quite good.Iam able to receive CNN ,The bbc and others wthout a hustle. However of recent, the station has coded most of favourable sources of good music such NGOMA and others,I hope in a bid to prepare the ground for a paid service. The decision looks good to the Company however this has been done too fast ,very few people know about the World space radio and there are no servie providers around in Tanzania.I therefore request the coding of stations be reviewed so that they can be accessed by as many people who happen to have the RARE radio receivers.

Hey, was surfing myself to know how we fare on our decision to install World Space at home. Agree that the reception is clear and rich. However, was wondering how the revenue model works. From what I read here, the commercials could get the listener by surprise soon? RIFF, The HOP, RFI and Gandharva all to my utter surprise are welcome fare. On my stereo, the sounds are a relish too. Hope this current arrangement lasts if not improves. Have already recommended this to friends.
