Anyone know of anywhere i can find good sources for learning Srilankan tamil?
Wheter its a webpage or some tutorial i have to order, i would appreciate it if anyone could help me out.

  A man named James Gair wrote a book on Spoken SL Tamil. It is no longer in print but you can ask him because he holds the copyrights. He's in the faculty in Cornell where he teaches Sinhala. Actually I was about to request the book from him myself. If I hear anything I'll let you know.
  
  I believe that there is little difference in written Tamil between SL & India. I have the impression that there is a pronunciation difference, though. Example- I've heard 'mundru' pronounced 'mundu'.
  
  Keep in mind that the upcountry spoken Tamil is practically the same as Indian Tamil.

  Because upcountry Tamils came to SL in the recent past compared to Ceylon Tamils.

  Why on earth does anybody want to learn SL Tamil? They drawl like an eon before anybody understands them!! The way I see it they should be learning Indian Tamil spoken and written the proper way!!
  
  I speak their tongue really well when I make fun of them!! Otherwise I detest it.
