  If you write kannadiga book even kannadigas will not read it. They read only English and Hindi.
  Moreover, most kannadigas say that kannada movies are bullsh!t and they wish to see only Tamil movies becasue they are comfortable with dance, joke, drama sequences of tamil movies.

  By the way, sheila, periyar never stood in elctions becaus he knew he would lose. He never antagonised the ruling party.

  but what about thyagaraja? he was born in tiruvarur and brought up in thiruvaiyyaru.but he composed all the songs in telugu and not even one in tamil
  therefore, the place of birth or nativity do not decide the mothertongue of a person.
  similar is with ma thi mu k a general secretary VAIKO whose mothertongue is also telugu.
