Rishab means Bull. Actually we must spell it
as "Vrishabh". The second Zodiac sign (Taurus)
is Rishabh. The same in Bengali or any language
derived from Samskrit.
I have not heard about "Rishit", may be derived
from the word "Rishi" means "wise-man".

Rishabh Dev was a great devotee of the Lord (Krishna). He finds mention in the Hindu scripture - Srimad Bhagavatam.
By the way, my nephew is named Rishabh after him

Is there any difference between RishaBH and RishaB? I know one of these stands for Nandi (Lord Shiva's bull). There are some sites which have listed it's meaning as the eigth octave ('Re', I suppose). Not quite clear if there are two meanings to the same word and the spelling does not matter OR if the spelling (adding the H at the end) alters the meaning.

The correct spelling is with h. 'bha' is the 24th consonant among the Sanskrit consonants and the 4th in the Pa series of consonants. When writing in roman script the h is added to differentiate it from the 3rd consonant of the pa series (p,ph,b,bh,m).
