N,
Then go and preach this infront of the mosques....if parpans are bad, then what abt the priests in the churches???
atleast parpans nowadays dont command much power and dont have the money power of the priests....
almost everyday we hear stories of the catholic priests indulging in many offences, sexual and otherwise, DK so far has never taken up even one such issue....
When Salman rushdie was hounded, DK never condemned the religious fanaticism.....
DKists are the worst hypocrites and they take money from non-Hindus and solely attack Hindu practices and Hinduism.....
WE are against this santharpa vadam only....otherwise if someone attacks all religions equally or point out to the wrongs of all unholy books, we will accept that....
How many books DK has publised on quranic barbarisms????
Even when Veeramani was approached by Christian Women groups for support on reforms in Matrimonial laws (which were outdated and now they have been modified, after much struggle against the church which was defending such outragious laws), veeramani has refused fearing stopping of funds by churches...
For the famous shah bano case, DK didnt raise a finger...it is the Hindutva groups which fought for the poor muslim women who were thrown out without any maintainance....
Santharpavadam, Nayavanchagam, Kulla narithanam, pedithanam all this combined is the 'Rationalists' of Tamilnadu and nowadays Veeramani's suyamariyathai is synonimous with falling at the feet of Jaya(secretly)!!

Hey MMC,
You are my friend. I never said Parpans are bad.
No body from a dravidian movement never said like that.
Whichever the country you go, minority right is there. You can never criticize a minority community even though you consider them they are bad. Imagine Americans start criticizing Hindus in US... No Indians will go there. But they have the right to criticize their own system.
Any reforms should come from the majority community. By saying majority community, I mean
the people who follow the traditional values.
I dont differentiate between a Parpan and non-Parpan. We, the majority community people should live as an example to Muslims and Christians as the progressed people. Then they will follow you. If one is a bad example by being an RSS goonda and demolish Mosque etc, then there will be bad examples from other side by blasting bombs.
Periyar never criticized minority religions for the above said reasons. And also we have a strong opinion that any Muslim reforms should come from the Arab nations and Christian reforms should come from the western nations. The other way round will never work.
So called Hinduism is having strong roots in this country, hence we criticize it. That does not mean that we assume that Hindus are cowards to retaliate.
At the same time, DK never slipped away from reforming minorities. That is what the mission statement states. DK also distributes books on anti-Christian, anti-Muslim values written by the people from Christian and Muslim reformers.
Do you still think that DK has to go to each Muslim's house and throw stone at them?

ithu enna annachi thideernu vedigundu??... :))
As u said...minorities are to be respected and protected..and the majority have to set an example.
I agree...then, arent the brahmins the minorities???
I am for criticising them or for that matter anyone...but these are being done too much and very unreasonably at times...
DK behaves like cowards manytimes, when the caste clashes take place in south tamilnadu, why dont they go there and say to both the groups that both are brothers??? they dont have the guts to do that...
all they do is abuse brahmins from periyar thidal with the hope that they will not be harmed..

THe more u praybthe more trials u face people.
I have noticed that those who are closer to god are the one suffering the most.
So maintain a distant and enjoy life.
I do not say that we should not belief in god but maintain a distant.

MMC Thambi,
Let us discuss whether Brahmins are minorities or not and whether they will accept that or not in another session, another time.
Let us stick to the point whether God is cruel or not.
If God creates everybody and why that fellow should provide lesser oppurtunity to one and better to another. For example, a Brahmin girl
born in a certain star is having less oppurtunity to marry another person she wishes than another
girl born in another good star. Or people born of
disabilities. Or people who are considered to be
ugly by most.
Is it not true that God discriminates people?

Hi,
If we say there is no God, there is no meaning for your life. But when you search for God(at one point we all does, because it is the purpose of God) we should search for the true God, who is really true with no partiality who is the just judge. I request those who have doubt in it, please read Bible and everything will fall in its place from first day of the world to the end of the world. There is answer for everying.
Thanks
Priscila

Why do you say God is cruel? Did he create some of us better than others or are we to blame ourselves for choices we made? Do you think that God plays dice with our lives. Do you think that what happens to us is random ? No, every thing is related to cause and effect. The effect gets manifested in different degrees and in different ways and periods. for example, it has been said, An eye for an eye and do unto others what you would have others do unto you. The rationale is simple. That which we do unto others, we invite upon ourselves. So why blame God ? He has provided the mechanisms or nature's law for us to receive what we call forth and we do call forth in many ways. How we treat others and ourselves is an example of cause, which would lead to an effect. Now, the cycle of cause and effect can be broken if we practise equanimity, without pride or prejudice. That can be done by surrendering to God or by realizing our true nature, not as sinners but blessed children of God. I do realize that it is easier said than done.
God is Love and that love is unconditional and does not interfere with our choices or the way we respond to events. Do you think that God loves the brahmin more than prostitute or a priest. Does the sun shine less on one man or does his rays extend to all. The problem however is that we are unable to reflect sun's rays ( God's love)because of ignorance, lack of bhakti or various other reasons. Just as a mirror reflects light, while darkened surface does not, our ability to reflect God’s love is dependant on how “clean” we are. BTW this is not a reference to sexuality.
Now to the point raised by Priscila that God is impartial. I totally agree to that, however that is not the way it is portrayed in the Bible. Only if you approached God in a particular manner ( through Jesus), would He give his Love to you and not only that..if not He will send you to hell. Ironically, we label those who do a lot less mischief as terrorists. so what we making God to be ? We are making God to be like ourselves and not vice versa. Truly, we have forgotten our real nature.

This thread is hilarious, especially the hindu pig prakash calling the 3-hairs thug as "Dai, thevudiya paiyya. Thirundhuda. Bas**tard."!!!!!
Anyway, I regret to announce that I am closing this thread with the following parting words:
Dear Filthy Hindu Pigs!
Do you know how the madharchodh Ganesha got a big dick stuck on his face?
Parvati got drunk one day and was giving Ganesha a blowjob and in her ecstasy bit off Vinayaka's cock. In her drunken state, she mistakenly reattached the big dick to Ganesha's face making the bastard look like an fucking elephant!
