Former Tamilnadu Chief Minister and a great Tamil scholar Dr.M.Karunanidhi has been brutally assaulted and arrested in an illegal manner.The happenings in tamilnadu for the past few days shows that the government is wholly dedicated in taking revenge against their political enemies rather than concentrating in welfare activities for which the people have voted for.At this point it is right to have a debate to consider using the provisions of Art.356, by the central government and bring president's rule and put an end to this dictatorship.I hope we will have a healthy and constructive debate on this topic.Please pour in your opinions.

  Under normal circumstances, Article 356 has certain sweeping powers rested in it, which could be construed to be against democracy and federalism.
  
  But, the present circumstances probably is the fittest case for the use of Art. 356, since the further continuance of govt. would nullify the very roots of Liberty, Egality,Fraternity,Democracy,Free Society ....and what not..
  
  Therefore, Art. 356 should be used to dismiss the current Barbarian Govt. of the "Witch Queen"....
  No doubts about that.

  Dear countrymen,
  
  It is the best option to use Art 356 now to eleminate a person who was convicted and punished by Judiciary system became the CM of a state.
  
  It is so amazing that how this loop hole was
  there in our rule book that even Sandalwood veerappan also become a CM of a state with out contesting in election for 6 months.
  
  Our central govt should seriosly think about amending this Article to be suitable for sitaution like this.

  Why should it be used?The law and order situtation is not very bad as compared to some other states in India.Because ExCm was arrested on a Curroption charge it doesnot mean 356 should be imposed.There is no valid reason to impose President's rule in TN.The cases of curruption against prev. regime are done by all the other staes also.What is wrong in it?When Ex dmk regime put cases against JJ and her ministers why there was no sound on political vendetta?Why now?

  1. TANSI case was filed even when JJ was CM(by Subramaniam swamy, he did it since JJ did not make hima part of her Govt.)
  
  2. Coal case and many other cases were also filed before 1996.
  
  3. Most of these cases were Filed, Investigated, Charge-sheet issued, the cases went to court, JJ was summoned in most of these cases,applied for Bail, in some cases granted and in others refused Bail...all these went on...
  
  3. Then during setp. oct. 1996 she was implicated by the ciurt that there was enough evidence in Tansi case, so she got a sentence.
  
  4. She was Jailed during December 1996, and seh came out in about a month, by getting Bail.
  
  This was the chronology of events..
  
  NOWHERE in that Jailing episode did DMK or Kalaignar interfered to foist some stupid cases or asked the police to act arrogantly....
  
  Okay you B******, we know exactly why "You" guys are so pissed-off with Kalaignar, and you know what this is exactly why he is gREAT fro us..
  
  He undid the huge mistake of RajaRajaCholan(of granting FREE land and houses and pattas for these bloddy useless pappans during his regime,that's why for the past 10 centuries these tanjore pappans are so arrogantly behaving as if they are god sent people.
  
  Kalaignar came and demolished the Myth that only these A******s can be smart..
  
  They'll never forgive him ..so these rats would always be after his blood..
  
  Dravidians would Prevail...for another umpteen eons...so Pappans don't be so glad just yet....

  Karunanidhi didnt spend rs.120 crores for the wedding of his 'foster' son.
  He didnt ask the people to wait for hours when he was travelling from home to office.
  He didnt accuse the governor on charges of sexual harassment.
  He didnt ask to build a restroom with toilet,all laid with costly granite and airconditioned just because he was about to pass by that way.And atlast the travel through that route being cancelled.
  He didnt claim the lives of many people because he wanted to take bath with his friend at kumbakonam mahamaham festival.
  He was not responsible for the attacks on many v.i.p's including a central minister,an IAS officer,Chief election commisioner,an university vice chancellor,High court judge and even her own party MLA's.
  He didnt ask to lay flowers on the road so that his car was driven on them.
  He didnt ask to rename all the state owned establishments after his own name.
  There are still more things like this that could be listed.And when people voted for karunanidhi last time,it was not for karunanidhi actually and it was anti-jaya votes.They wanted some form of action against her.If karunanidhi had not taken any action,then they would have started talking that some form of understanding had gone between the two.And even this time people voted for JJ,not because she was pure but it was against the political alliance of the DMK.

  as long as tamilans sleep or spend watching tv mega serials, all notorious will take over the government and make the people popper. no electricity, no water, no peace of mind, there will be only NO until she is thrown from the chair. poor or rich educated or uneducated- all are responsible for the present situation in tamilnadu. people elected her party giving sweep majority. okay let them suffer to know what they did is a terrible mistake.

  Congress has used article 356 for more than 100 times. But now they are not ready to support for this in Tamil Nadu, because they are in aliance with ADMK in Tamil Nadu and Pandichery.
  If the Congress is not ready to support 356 in TN, then it is very difficuilt for BJP to dissmiss the current TN Govt.

  I don't know the legalities of 356. But I would feel glad to see J gone as also the AIADMK. There are chances that J may lose CM post due to pending cases, and I dread the consequence of Sudhakaran/Sasikala family take over the reins of TN. It can't get worse thereafter. In the event of such a thing happening, Mu.Ka should send right signals to one and all on who will be CM if DMK is elected to power again, and merge MDMK with DMK, Get PMK back to fold and fight to garner the lost votes. That way, one could hope continuance of TN growth.
  
  And people like Cho, who are wary of DMK's committment to Nationalism or of its penchant for separatism should at best write about such fears or even exercise whatever balancing moves that BJP can take as a National party coalition partner but never support J kind of political goondaism.

  you are really wise among many fools who got fooled by sun tv episode.KK is not be taken lightly,he was worse than JJ when he was in his first tunure as CM.Now he has sobered down allowed his son to do all looting.The first accused KK,second accused stalin,third accused JJ in looting and fooling tamilians as a whole.Dear tamilians dont be carried away by emotions and drama which KK is vey well versed.
