  The same question was asked by a friend this sunday. I replied what anbu has replies and said that it is enchanting .... not only for the kids, but also for the adults.
  
  Ofcourse, apart from the 'charms' of the book, what i see as the most charming aspect is the reversion/correction of the past mistake of the christian world in terming all pagan philosophies / concepts as evil/devilish/wicker/satanic.
  
  It is good that this reversal is happening and the change is happening in a mass-scale through this medium.
  
  Leaving out the philosophical aspects aside, I was explaining to my friend as to how Rowling has created a new game, how she has tried to accomodate Indian view points in to that story, be it mentioning parvati patel or concepts like transmigration etc....
  
  It surely is a lovely book..for everyone to read...a friend calls himself as wizard prince ;) after being enchanted with that book. I have recommended that book to all my friends and ofcourse recently downloaded the entire book from the net (sorry rowling , for the CR/IPR violations ...you are too rich to be bothered by this e-piracy!) and searching for time to read the recent release.
