Sudhanthira thina Nalvazhthukkal .....

I am wondering if it will be a problem if i try to hoist Indian National flag alongside with US flag , i understand it's OK to hoist other nation's flag in US as long as it is hoisted with US flag and i was told that when someone looks the flag the US flag should be at the left most side and other nations flag would have to be to it's right...

Any feedback .... we are trying o this in our Apartment complex today evening....

I am sure most of you guys also would have planned something like this , folks can share thier ideas and plans of celebrating ID in US.... and other countries as well and let's pray and hope that militants would be taken care of by our security forces...

  I donot see any problem if you try hoisting a flag in your complex. We have been doing this for years but we also hoist the USA flag. In our office too we celebrate by informing all Indians to gather in one conference room and then sing Jana Gana Mana.... Just inform some management level person. Americans are very open to things like this.Best time is around Lunch when you can also order some snacks and then eat together.

  Yes, Why not. You are doing fine thing and it shows respect for your motherland. We live in democracy and in 21st century. Good thing is good. Follow your instinct. You are not breaking any law of US.
