HAI every one .here is the good news again from sunnetwork.after the tremendous & overwhelming responce for SUN TV followed by GEMINI & SURYA IN USA.sunnetwork announced the launch of UDAYA TV the leading channel in kannada & followed by TEJA TV sister concern of GEMINI TV ,very soon in USA,through DISHNETWORK.
(ie: MAY BE FEW WEEKS OR MONTH)

  I guess in your case it is on lease basis.you may need to return the dish and receiver .If you dont want to sign contract and want to sign for only udaya channel best is to buy the superdish($199) and receiver $99 + u need to pay installation charges.and monthly 14.99 + 5 service fee.

  $149 that I paid(see my msg. above) is inclusive of superdish + receiver + installation charges. I didn't pay anything like $99 for receiver and seperate installation charges. Even I am not bound to any contract and I have signed up only for udaya tv.

  Dish Network offers free superdish + free recevier + free installation if you sign up for america top 60 and udaya tv with a year contract. If you dont want america top 60 and want only udaya tv, you have to pay $149 for superdish + receiver + installation and $20 for udaya tv / month.

  Thats good.its surprising to me .I have been told with this offer I bound to contract .thats the reason I haven't taken that.did u get it installed with dishnetwork directly or any other dealer?can I have there telephone number?

  Have they taken your credit card number and SSN details? in that case better u check with them again. when ever I called them i have been told it is with 12months commitment.even when you look in dishnetwork.com ,international promotion terms and condition it says very clearly with 12months commitment.

  If I am paying for my dish, then I am not bound to any contract. I am bound to contract only if I am going with their international promotion offers in which case I am not paying $149 for the superdish. That is what was told by a customer service representative.

  You are right, last night there was some Technical problem, now IST program schedule. I am not sure, what all strings we need to pull to get this corrected. To tell you the truth I am getting tired of all this. How come only our Kannada channel we have so many issues, other south indian and Hindi channel are doing so good. Hope this new issue is resolved as soon as possible.

  Now it is back again as per USA schedule. I think we just need to have lot of patience though what these people are doing is unprofessional. It takes more subscription and more time to have un-interrupted broadcast.

  When I contacted Dish Network Thay said I need to sign for one year agreement and I have to take other package like American Top 60 OR Zee and TV Asia or Zee plus other 4 channel.
  I am ready to sign for one year I already have time Warner Cable and Zee, Now I just Need Udaya TV, Please advise.
  They are saying that thay can't give Udaya for 14.99+5, I need to take atleast another package along with Udaya ?

  different persons in dish network say diff things..one does not agree with the other..i talked to them atleast 10 times before i decided..each of them said diff things..when we finallised fora package &the installation was postponed bcos of some reason,someone cancellled it..when i called them to reorder it,the rep said that sort of package did not exist at all while i had signed up for that with someone else..so talk to different ones bfore u decide..its just busuiness..each one wants to make money..hope this helps.

  Looks like udaya Tv is changing their daily schedule without informing . Looks like Kuhu Kuhu is dropped (which was one of the best shows they had) looks like Movies will start half an hour early because of the new show Kalparuksha. They had added " Henne Ne Jaane" which is booooooooring . Belli Chukki is also loosing getting boring. ETV has better programming than UDAYA TV.

  I want to subscribe for udaya tv in usa, we're in OH, I don't want to subscribe for america top 60, what is the deal I should be getting, please let me know asap. I really appreciate all your help. Whenever I call dishnetwork, different people give me different rates, hence I'm scared that I might be getting ripped off.
