I always thought that the name should be spelt as Rukmini ( daughter of Rukmangada and sister of Rukmi ). Many however, spell it as Rukmani.
Which one is correct ?
Also many spell the name Indira as Indra. They have totally different meanings.

The correct Sanskrit form is rukmiNi.
The correct Sanskrit form is Indira. (not to be confused with Indra the king of the devas)
