It seems developing will power holds the key to our success.
Any suggestions on developing that? You can narrate your own experiances too!

MMC;
Developing will Power is one of the hardest things that, you come across in your life, few things I have developed my will power are as follows:
1) I use 2 be 14 stones, which was quite fat, my face was chubby, I said to my self, that I am going to do some thing about it, and I have made up my mind (WILL POWER) that I will do anything I can to loose to weight, that is go to GYM 5 times a week, no matter what, and I stuck with that for the last 18 months, in the initial first three months of me joining the GYM, I have lost 4 stones, no kidding, but I also had some Chinese medication, which helped about 80 % of weight loss, I felt great, that I am the only good looking guy in the world, hehe, after my chubby face had jaw lines and flabby belly turned into 6 packs after six months!
2) I use to meat BIG time, from all the types of fish to lamb, chicken, duck, turkey, but one day I sat down and thought "Is it not cruel to kill an animal for our enjoyment", ever since then I have STOP eating meat at all, I am pure vegetarian now, it is difficult to give up the taste, as every body in my house is meat eater, it is very difficult give up, but I said to my self, never eat meat, since then till now I am pure vegetarian (for the last 2 years)
So anything is possible if you put your mind to it, but I am still having my problems about obsession, I wish, I have the will power to stop it, but :((

My 2 cents on this:
If one wants to get something, then one must continuously think about that. That is the first step! Then comes, planning and working out accordingly.
So to get up early, repeat that thought many times in your mind.
Then whenever you show some progress in achieving your goal, you must encourage yourself. This is really necessary!
For example, if one's regualr morning starts at 10 O'clock and wants to change that to 6. First it may become 9,...then 8 and will recede slowly. In each stage he must encourage himself and continue holding that aim. If he expects immediate result and gets angry with him for not achieving that in the first try, that will only decrease his confidence. Determination, perseverance and confidence, all are equally important for healthy living. That is all from me :-)

same pinch.i stopped eating non-veg when i was in 12th standard.my parents and cousins didn't believe when i announced this(i used to eat chicken like saapadu raman).but i thought, im not goin to give up(of course, when mom makes chicken biriyani,it tempts a lot but that's only in the intial stage.now,i hate its smell).we can achieve anything if we can control our mind.

I said, I was 14 stonnes, which is roughly about 86 kg, I am now 63 Kg, which means I have lost about 23 KG, which is roughly 4 stonnes.
I said the chinese medicine help me about 80% to loose my weight (which is 23 KG), I did not say Chinese Medicine reduce my weight my 80 %!!!

The problem with my alarm is it has this snooze button.
So i keep on postponing the getting up ..:)
anyhow, decided to sleep in time from now onwards and to get up early.
I will start the auto-suggestion method suggested by someone here too(repeating the same thing mentally sevearal times).

MMC,
I'm sure you have fantastic willpower, and that you are as capable as any man of rising in the morning. I am not a great riser, and hardly ever punctual, when I'm down. Perhaps it isn't the willpower you're lacking, but the sheer will to do whatever you're doing. So the decision you could make is more of a lifestyle/career issue (humbly).
