Born in the early 16th century, Nostradamus has become one of the world's most widely known and read prophets.

His poetic yet cryptic quatrains are claimed by some to conceal information about future events. He completed a total of 942 quatrains which he organized into Centuries - groups of 100 quatrains (one Century only had 42 quatrains).

Do these writings actually predict the death of popes, rise of tyrants, and natural catastrophes to come?

  On December 14, 1503 in St. Remi, France, Michel de Nostredame was born. The first son of Jewish parents, forced by the Inquisition to convert to Catholicism, would become a skilled physician but would gain renown during his lifetime and beyond as a seer of the future.
  
  Growing up he spent much of his time learning languages, math, astronomy, and astrology from his grandfather, Jean. Later he attended the University at Avignon where he studied liberal arts. Afterwards, he graduated from the medical school at the University of Montpellier and began a private practice where he succeeded at treating plague victims in Montpellier and the surrounding areas.
  
  Around 1534 he married and began a family. Tragically, the plague which he had been so successful in treating previously took the lives of his wife and two children. (The names of his wife and children are not known)
  
  Distraught and pursued by the Inquisition, Nostradamus packed his bags and traveled throughout Italy and France for the next six years.
  
  He eventually settled down in the town of Salon, France in 1554 where he married his second wife, Anne Ponsart Gemelle, with whom he raised six children - three boys and three girls.
  
  It was during this time that he began his career as a prophet. In 1555, at the age of 52, he wrote his first collection of Centuries - a set of 100 quatrains. Over the next several years he would complete a total of 10 Centuries.
  
  In 1564 Nostradamus was appointed Royal Physician to King Charles IX.
  
  On July 1, 1566 Nostradamus offered his final prediction to his priest. In response to the priest's farewell of "Until tomorrow," Nostradamus is said to have answered: "You will not find me alive at sunrise."

  ABC (Australian Broadcasting corporation) has brought out two films based on the predictions of Nostradamus. Both these films were made some time in 1988-89 (if my memory serves me right). The films were very popular during the Gulf War. They are known as Prophecies of Nostradamus I and II. The films are based on the findings of a research team commissioned by ABC. Try to get hold of these films if you havent yet seen them. Any good video library should have them. Quite fascinating stuff. Some events may have got 'telescoped chronologically' but it is intruiging nevertheless.

  Jannat is the Mohammedans' heaven. That is where all the goodies are preserved for the male believers; those who fight for the Prophet (Saliullah aliya
  wassallam or Peace be upon him) and do all kinds of difficult tasks like killing the unbelievers, destroying their hearths and homes, raping their
  women, and so on. As a rule, the doors of the Jannat are closed to Mohammedan women, even pious women, for the simple reason that you don't bring coal to New
  Castle.
  
  The place is choc a bloc with beautiful women. So the believing women are left out; they are not needed and therefore not permitted into Jannat. Only menfolk
  have that advantage.
  
  
  In order to attract the believers, to mobilize them for such deeds, to fight for Jihad, the Prophet (saw) had to put up the price and they were not ordinary stuff. For intance, in order to go to the Jannat, one had first to be a believer; then, one had to love the Prophet (saw) more than one's own parents.
  
  
  Never mind how many good deeds a believer had done during his life time on this earth, the sine qua non for a flight to Jannat was and had to be the Prophet's acquiescence. Even if you are the world's most notorious rapist, killer, thief and so on, the Prophet could let you go in to the Jannat if he so pleased. That favor is called intercession. Once the Prophet (saw) intercedes on your behalf, then that's it. You go to heaven or Jannat and enjoy for the rest of your existence which really means an eternity, good fruit juice, cool weather and above all, unlimited sex with very beautiful women and for free.
  
  The rest of mankind, specially the kafir-tamils, will all burn in hell. The fire will roast the Tamils without totally killing them. They will remain alive but will roast like in a barbecue; the idea is to increase the pain. Isn't that wonderful! That is Islamic imagination running riot! However, we have no business with hell or dojakh; we will concern ourselves with Jannat and its pleasures! No, it is not imagination. It is all spelled out in the Islamic texts; only the idiots don't know for they cannot read Arabic. Incidentally, if you cannot read, write and speak Arabic, never mind how many good deeds you do while on this earth, you don't go to Jannat. Why? Because Allah Miyan and His Servant Mohammed (saw) cannot understand any other language.
  
  In order to make Jannat more attractive it has been said that every new resident will be given not one, not two but seventy-two (72) houries for sexual enjoyment. Now what good is sevety-two beautiful houries at one stroke? After having sex with the first one or two, the man, never mind how virile at the beginning of his sexual onslaught, will be a desperate case for viagra. But Allah sees all, knows all. He brings down the physical age of all new residents (no matter how old and decrepit), to their thirties. Not only that. The all merciful Allah gives each new resident the power of a hundred men. What does that mean? It means, pure and simple, that the new resident will have the sexual prowess of a hundred men. Thus he would be able to fully enjoy all the sevety-two beautiful houries without a flagging penls. Then questions are raised why does Allah give the strength of a hundred men but allows only seventy-two houries? What would happen when the shahid or martyr had finished his quota of seventy-two houries but is still left with the virility of twenty-eight men?
  
  
  Ah! A good question! But do not think that Allah can be out-witted! It is at that time the young kids will come in handy, for in Jannat there are, along with the beautiful women or houries, many handsome boys. It is then, after the seventy-two women have been sexually enjoyed, the twenty-eight boys will come into the picture. Yes, yes, you may not yet know it but in Jannat child molesting is a standard enjoyment. It is for this reason in Islamic Pakistan, child molesting is rampant. Please read up our columns on Pakistan on the web-site. Then there are descriptions of the physical beauty of the houries elsewhere in Islamic texts. How beautiful they are! Their breasts do not hang, they look up. Their pubic hairs are all shaved and those area are clean and tidy. The normally 'smelly' areas do not smell foul but of the roses of Arabia! When they look down upon earth from Jannat, the entire line of sight is lit up with suffused light and the trajectory becomes perufmed like roses of al Arabiyya al Saudiyya. No doubt the idea is to make the desire in the hearts of the future Jihadis uncontrollable! Now comes the secret of sex in Jannat.
  
  There, every ejaculation will last not a few seconds but 84,000 years. Just imagine, how much pleasure the love-making will provide to the martyr! And to think that the entire age of Islam is less than 1500 years! In fact, by the time the martyr has had sex with all seventy-two houries, the time spent in the exercise will be 72 x 84,000 or 6,048,000 years. At the same time, other martyrs will be metering up many more millions of years in making love to the houries. Now who says that the life in Allah's Jannat is not attractive! just imagine, during these 6 million plus years, the thirty-ish man has not aged by even a day.
  
  He remains as young as on the first day he came in to his new residence and all that due to Mohammed's (saw) intercession!
