Being fellow country men and women of this young girl, the least we could do is write our outrage to the Times of India and others and see if some action can be taken to help this girl. Remember she is one of the people on whose shoulders we stood to get our education and our luxuries in India, now it is our turn to help her.

It is better to commit suicide than sit twiddling your thumbs while an innocent girl is brutalised. It really requires a special form of cowardice. What we need is heroism. Every man is a hero.   It is sad to see someone being abused by someone bigger or stronger than themselves. Whether it be a man abusing a woman or vice versa. I am happy the Internet exists. Thanks to the Internet, people who were aboused can make it known. This is something people could not do 10 or 20 years ago. :( Back then and even today in many smaller communities, anyone who says that they were abused will get laughed at! That is awful.
