heh heh.. maybe the sub should have been Arent, Relatives..." well.. lets share thoughts, pretend that we are not anyone's annoying relatives. And hope that none of ours come here n read.. ;)
So dont we all have experiences to narrate when our relays from some place embarrassed us in front of some ppl... or when the kids spilt milk on our new clothes... he heh.

*rak*,
It has become a norm to consider relatives a 'pain'. But the real fact is they aren't. I also have had this habit of considering relatives a pain but, now I've realised my fault. Most of the relatives try to show extra concern towards us because they feel they have the liberty and rights. There could be some relatives who are really a pain, but you get these kind of pains every where - among friends, collegues, neighbours etc.
Personally I have had some experiences which made me realise the value of relatives. Therefore I cannot consider relatives a "pain". I'm sure every one at one point or the other will realise it!!

I am sorry if I sounded that way.. like that is not exactly what I meant.. u know the fun way how they can be annoying..
c i do know how valuable they are.. personally I know since i once met with an axident and couldnt believe it when i saw so many relatives... many whom I thought didnt care a * about me. true they are really fun... like in get togethers and all.. but i meant like certain characters who manage to iritate us like hell...

hey i guess its not the question of relatives........
All irritate us, the colleagues, boss, subordinates, peers, friends, TELL ME WHO DOES NOT???
So when we tolerate and dodge and manage in such scenarios, why NOT WITH RELATIVES?
After all, some relatives are truly gems, who shower great deal of affection towards us.
The only disadv here, is u are bound by duty towards them. A biological duty, which can be taken as advantage in some situations.

I suppose each one of us are relatives to someone else as well....anyway there's a sense of achievement in being at least a pain to people ;-)

all depends on maturity. carefully studying ppl and precuation may help to sort out some of these irritation/pain.

Very true. Same logic could be applied to friends, collegues etc..I'm telling this through my own experience.

Are RELATIVES a pain?
Yes ... if we are also a pain to them.
Are RELATIVES fine people to live with?
Yes ... if we play our roles well.
