Hey, has anyone taken the Myers-Brigg Test Inventory and discovered what is your personality? Also, comment on yourself in relation to your type and any other interesting tid bits about your type, please!
There are 4 dimentions:
Extraversion (E)...............Introversion (I)
Sensing (S)....................Intuitive (N)
Feeling (F)....................Thinking (T)
Judging (J)....................Perceiving (P)
There are more interesting details, but in a snap.........>
Extraverts like people and orient their energy to others and gain energy from others.
Intraverts draw energy from within themselves and like quiet time alone.
Sensing people are fact based, present oriented.
Intuitive people are idea and theory people, future oriented.
Feeling people are value-system based, people-based.
Thinking people are logic, rationally oriented. May disregard people's feelings on the extreme.
Judging people are organized (super-clean?), timely and punctual, decision-competent (need only short time to decide and very good at it too).
Perceiving people are spontaneous, not organized (messy rooms, anyone?), slow to decisions (must weigh all, I mean ALL options), lax and forgiving about time.

INTP
Border line I and E, I won slightly
Border line s and N, N won slightly
Clear T
Border line J and P, P won slightly
I am so extravert in terms of people...I love people.
I used to be more intuitive and very future oriented when I was a kid, but now I am so present-oriented the future is opaque! I am just enjoying the present now, I guess. Also, my keen intuitions have kind of laxed and now I am more facts based and gather info through my 5, yes, 5 senses. My sixth is getting weaker.
I love to be organized, yeah, and I do it all the time, because it gets messy all the time! I love doing things without plans, except for serious stuff, like education.
Oh well, I just love this topic and hope to hear from all of you. It's very uniquifying (no such word)! :)

Anyone know the uk based url for a test that measures psychological age?
It is not solely for that, but on a person's webpage.

Hey folks,
What's your personality? Just wanna know :)
Did you ever take the Myers-Brigg? It's american, but maybe Britain has it too?

Ellen,
The colorquiz gave me the following results:
Readily participates in things affording excitement or stimulation. Wants to feel exhilarated.
Unfulfilled hopes have led to uncertainty and apprehension. Needs to feel secure and to avoid any further disappointment, and fears being passed over or losing standings and prestige. Doubts that things will be any better in the future and this negative attitude leads him to make exaggerated demands and to refuse to make reasonable compromises.
Remains emotionally unattached even when involved in a close relationship.
Able to achieve satisfaction through sexual activity.
Circumstances are forcing him to compromise, to restrain his demands and hopes, and to forgo for the time being some of the things he wants.

Ramadas, sounds like you got pent up goals and desires in life. How are you meeting them? Also, looks like you need some optimism in your life! Look up, as things will start to look up and look better. I think Shakthi said in the "Are you happy?" thread that its in your mind. I agree. Tell me if the following is true after you visit www.typelogic.com! :)
And if I am right, you are an extravert, sensing, feeling, and not sure about perceiving/judging. I think you may be J, although you may not act quite decisive and organized, due to some minor road block. If you are acting ESFP, I wouldn't be surprised, as that sometimes happens to me too.
So, you'd be, perhaps, ESFP/ESFJ. Did you take the kiersey test? It should kind of tell you what you are.
Have a fun discovery! ;)

You can also quite easily be ESTJ, now that I see the big picture better.

Hello Ramadas,
I wrote a few things about your EMI question. It took me a while to put that together. Did you have chance to look at it?
Sorry, folks. My personality has always been described by others as something between an a$$**** and a gentleman. So, no need take any tests.
Thanks for listening.

Madurai Veeran,
Thanks for the help in EMI. I am still testing your formulae and method. Will give a feedback soon.
Ellen,
What are all those four-letter-acronyms? ES stands for extra-sensory I believe, the rest of the letters I do not know. I am getting stupider by the day!

Yeah...look on top of this thread... also www.typelogic.com explains many types, 16 types, in fact. When you click on say, ESTJ, you will find a description of the type. On the bottom of the screen will see "type relations". There you will see which is your complement, contrast, companion, pal, etc.
It's interesting.
