United champions as Gunners crash

Sir Alex Ferguson's mighty Manchester United won their eighth Premiership title in 11 seasons on Sunday when the only team who could catch them, Arsenal, lost 3-2 to Leeds and saw their hopes extinguished. United, who trailed for much of the season but are unbeaten in the Premiership in 2003, opened up an eight-point lead with a 4-1 thrashing of Charlton on Saturday. All attention focused on Highbury on Sunday where Arsenal had to win to stay in contention, but there was also incentive for Leeds who needed three points from their remaining two matches to be sure of top-flight survival, barring a set of freak results on the last day of the season.

  Well we have proofed that we are the best in England.
  Man Arsenal fans were glothing in the begining of the season with their awesome run but the buggers cracked under pressure and with stand united.
  Next year the holy grail of Europe will be at the Theatre of Dreams once more.
  A 1999 treble will be a drteam come true but securing the European Cup is the main agenda.
  F uck Real MADRID.
  They are natural born losers man.
  They have the worlds best players and can lose to a team which were bashed by United man this shows that we are a class of our own.
