As a non-Indian who has developed an interest in your culture, I would be very interested to know of any writers, specifically Tamil, who's work/s are translated into English.
Can anyone please help me?

Mutzi!
And WHY didn't you tell me about this thread? My friend told me about it in an email this morning.
I have found a site with lyrics to Tamil film songs, it has helped me a lot to read the words while listening to the songs. I'll get the address and let you know.
Thank you for starting this, I'm sure I shall also find it very helpful.

Kia ora, Ninja,
Many thanks for your response; I've just had a quick look in the links you suggested, and put them in my Favourites! There is a lot there to digest. Having on-line literature is really valuable, as I've not been able to track down many references at our local library; Thamizh is just too way-out for most Kiwis!
Nundree!!
Donna!!!! Sorry, sorry, sorry!! I was going to mention this to you, thought that you would see it on the Miscellaneous page anyway. Try the links, they are really good.
Mutz.
