SARS, if there has been no epidemic in Tamil Nadu for centuries, then the Tamils will solve this problem easily.
In Siddha medicine, viruses can only knock one of the minerals in our body, it can't kill a person.
In SARS, I think the potassium has been knocked down by the virus. Just eat dates or bananas for the potassium needs.

Does Siddha medical system even identify viruses?
Viruses, the disease causing ones, typically work by destroying the host cell. It is possible that some key enzyme involved in the replication of some viruses might critically depend on a enzyme that needs some 'mineral'. It could even require some the mineral during the assembly phase of the virus. Where did you read about the potassium depletion by SARS virus? Or is it just folklore?

Dear Punnahai:
I have been doing fine. A bit busy. In the meantime it appears, Karuvaayan and Co has been busy planting a lot of poisonous mushrooms in FH. I will check Donna's thread. Thanks. I have been mostly looking at the end of different threads, when time permits.
EndA thambi KaruvAyA,
Do you really know who are the Christians, whom you love to hate? Let me show you from your Gita - yes, the same Gita you and your fellow Sudhra brahmins manufactured in the mussalmaan courts.

Chapter 18. Conclusion--The Perfection of Renunciation
TEXT 66
sarva-dharman parityajya
mam ekam saranam vraja
aham tvam sarva-papebhyo
moksayisyami ma sucah
TRANSLATION
Abandon all varieties of religion and just surrender unto Me. I shall deliver you from all sinful reaction. Do not fear.

Look at these worthless Sudhra brahmins! Did they ever have any original thought? They simply lifted chapters and verses from wherever they could find.
Our very own Koenrad Elst, the Hindutvaadi spokesman from the phirangi land, mentions elsewhere that Kedar Nath Mishra of Benaras Hindoo University, his mentor, considers Gita a hodge-podge of different philosophies cobbled together hurriedly, which does not have cohesion. Our Poivaayan should thank the Christians for having helped our Manuvaadi Hindoos to come up with some mumbo jumbo philosophy.

The symptoms, dry cough, sudden onset of fever are the initial symptoms of potassium deficiency. Potassium and sodium are electrolytes. They are required for muscle contraction, the lungs and the heart contracts and expands 24hrs a day involuntarily. So when potassium is lacking, sodium will enter the cell and its inflammatory and breathing becomes difficult.
