Please note I have to be specific about the kind of women I am referring to in Canada because the native women are also called 'Indian women' with similar, yet different sets of ordeals.

Punnahai,
Those referrals are good, but I have two problems:
i)My email accounts are not safe for discussion and disclosure of private information - they never were since late 1996
ii)Those who responded from the sites to my request, are requesting more details. It will take some time before I could get that to them. I encourage them to read what I have posted on certain threads in the mean time.

It might be best for those asian women groups responding to me, to do so here.
Thank you.

The more us kind of women seek support, the more agressive the Tyrants of the British get.

I think expecting them to come here is not a logical thing. I suggest you visit them personally one of these days. Toronto is not far away from Windsor.

I agree Punnahai. I prefer to have personal disussions, but recently I was begining to accept that I don't have those chances, feeling the need for immediate contact, yet not in the position for reasons already explained. I will have to arrange for it and wait until I get to Toronto next month.

That is what I was intending to do this week, but other crap came up and these days I can't take and deal with too much pressures at once. I might do that tomorrow. One of the agency did ask me in an email to ring them, but it was not the south asian women conetre.

Punnahai,
I was able to make contact yesterday with the South Asian Women Centre. They sound positive. I wish I had something like this years ago. I referred them to my my thread 'Canadian Authorities....'. From there they will follow deeper into my case. So by the time I meet with them, the position would be better understood.
