Hello All:
I have glanced some of his books, but haven't read any. I would like to have some knowledge on what his 'core' ideas were/are. I have read V S Naipaul, Gita Mehta and Mr.Lee Kuan Yew to some extent. Being a slow reader could never seize any opportuity to read Toffler yet. In retrun for your sharing information, I would be more than willing to contribute on other authors/topics that I many know of ! :-)
Thanks in anticipation !!

I have read his Future Shock in which he starts off with culture shock and further in to the adaptability. Very fast reading indeed! He gives a rational approach on this from the modern principles. Philosophy.

I read Future Shock in late 70s. It is a wonderful book to read. Indians living in the west will find it interesting.

One thing I could not understand in him is accelerating to change. That is, he uses the "knowledge is Power" of one philosopher and interprets it as "knowledege is change" as the world changes but acceleration to change? which was felt by him in 70s! - must be a great real thinker of all times indeed!! I never had such a great time with any of these latest books that give.
