Waves in Sea

What is the reason behind,huge wave pools near sea shore predominantly in the evenings as their are no trees around?.

I don't quite understand the philosophy. Could you please elaborate? Also, is there a scientific reason to it, or is it that the waves behind are pushing the waves in front to hit the shore?

what really matters is the first and the last wave
because they have nothing to follow & precede respectively. The Pool will contain one of each kind.

Actually there are so many reasons for waves in the sea. Wind motion, difference in pressure/temperature, earthquakes under the sea, valcanic eruption underwater, ete. Those obnormal waves are called Tsunami waves. once Tsunami waves have been recorded a hight of 122 feet near Japan.
