If there is such a thing as "The True Religion" won't people born into that religion have an unfair advantage?

UNmai viLambi,
Most of the 'True Religions' will also allow conversions. So by conversion you can get the same advantages that particular religion promises. I dont know whether you are saying converted people do not get the same advantages (in heaven etc). That will not be true. Because noone will convert if they dont get all the advantages.
If Islam is taken as an example 72 virgins will be given to you in heaven. It does not mean a converted person will only get 4 virgins.

TamilNattan,
72 virgins if it is a man! What about a good pious Muslim woman. She will get 72 handsome studs, is it??
Jokes apart, coming to the thread's topic. Religion by itself is un-necessary, let alone "true" religion! There is nothing like true in religion. Because religion is result of our thoughts. Thoughts are neither true nor false. They are just fallacies of the mind.

Dear Tamilnattan,
"Most of the 'True Religions' will also allow conversions." - That is just my point.......CONVERSION............isn't a drastic change in an average person's life.........going against his family and community? He has to tear himself away from everything and start all over again with the so called "True" religion.
But a person born born into the "True" religion has everything comfortably taken care for him. He does not have to make the tough decision of having to convert.
If God expects you to run a race to reach him, shouldn't he make sure that everybody gets a fair start? Is the Almighty so ignorant of this basic logic?
Quite simply, I am questioning this whole logic of "The True Religion"............which brings us to another question, "Isn't God more important than religion?"

The person get the salvation or the ultimate victory, not by virtue of his birth in a particular religion .It is his deeds that counts.Being in a true religion only helps him with certain guidelines to get exposed to the virues of the religion more than others who are not born in the religion. But then, others are always free to listen and practise good based on the common sense and the commonly accepted virtues of a good social setup. I assume this could be more or less similiar in any religion.

TamilNattan,
Those who got converted to Islam were never after the promised Ms.72s. They did so to protect the existing females(Ms.1s), in this world from those who told that otherwise they will be raped/abducted.
Whether we feel awkward that many of our friends may get annoyed or not, this is the truth. Even at the time of partition, many women from non-converted familes were abducted like this in present day pk-stan,as those who got converted earlier beleived that their religion demands such actions.
