  Technology tampers with nature there by leads to DESTRUCTION.
  
  Though invented for constructive purposes, human mind works beyond goodness and sometimes shocking and scary uses of the same is done.

  global warming
  uses of plastics and similar materials
  destruction of trees for paper
  cloning
  meddling with cells and genetics, to create chaos
  
  Any technology which is not amicable or compatible with the nature IS PERIL IN DISGUISE

  It is not "technology" perse which tampers which nature. It is man's egoism which uses "technology" to such ends which tamper with nature. This is like a diabetic saying "Sugar is bad". Sugar is not bad. His body is reacting wrongly to it. Instead of blaming his body he is blaming the sugar. Everything is like this. It is for what purpose and you use technology which matters.

  Technology & Spritiualism are the MOST fascinating things, I have come in life.
  
  Technology is used by man to combat nature, or what we call GOD, man never succeds in this issue, & never will.
  
  Technology plays a major part in our lifes, in fact, at this time, we will be unable to survive without technolgy, take for example the Technologies used in medicine!
  
  But using Technology for Destruction such as Nuclear/bilogiocal war is really a bad thing, take the radiation from the nuclear plants, it really damages the ppl, who work there!

  Shakthi has hit the nail on the head. If mankind does not realize its inability to control and wisely use technology we will be doomed in just a few years from now.
  
  Its high time that children are educated from an early age as to the benefits and dire need to conserve nature. The last few generations have been largely ignorant about the ill effects that abuse of technology could bring about.
  
  Conservation should be introduced as a full time subject in the school curriculum. Right now the need to teach conservation is greater than the need to teach science. (I am not advocating abolishing the teaching of science - for the benefit of chronic and compulsive arguers)

  Technology is neither good nor bad. it depends on how man use it. if man makes bad use of it, it is only then that it becomes man's foe... we should know how to use it to improve our life... nuclear weapons, an offspring of technology is an example of technology's bad effect... but thx to technology, many lives have been saved. thx to technology, life expectancy has improved... n thx to technology, i'm able to comment on this post ;)

  Technology is moving things at a far greater speed than a humanbeing can adapt to. Yes change is necessary but what is a safe rate of change?
