At last after so many episodes ( i dont know the exact number )the serial is coming to an end ( i think day after tommorow).

Any comments ?

  A decade ago, I read that the American women worry more about the characters in the television soaps than their own children. Our own women proved no better. However, I do not know whether, the habit of watching serials is good or bad, worthy or a wasteful endeavor.
  
  I would like to add, the success of these soaps lies in the human's basic instinct to eavesdrop into a neighbors house as brilliantly brought out in the film ‘Trueman Show’

  There is no mention of why Krishna was murdered. If you go by the earlier mega serials, the ending have always been a sodappal (Mandira Vaasal, mega serial before chitti, in which Banupriya played the central character (I forgot the name of the serial) to name a few.

  Just another typical Tamil Serial....
  The woman leads, problems always occurred to her and her family particularly, she overcomes everything single-handedly
  Man stays dumb; his only duty is just keep on looking what’s going on around him, portrays most of the man as useless, brainless figures……………...
  
  It’s okay to portray women as successful, intelligent and independent but it is just a sheer stupidity to do that in an exaggerated way, like in Chitti.
  As a woman myself, I knew that it is a bit impossible. I really can’t forgive and tolerate such a misbehaved woman (Prabhavathi, in this case) in my entire life. And the men’s role……oh God, I’m speechless.
  
  But at the end of the serial, there will be a photo session, with everybody holding their children; pardon me, but in such a short gap….. how come soooo many children :)

  The way the suspense dragged me to watch the show was great.
  
  I was thinking this was one of the best serials ever made but the ending really collapsed my statement and expectations to ground zero.
  
  The careless part was when Vaidegi was in the mental hospital and there was a doctor taking a check on her heartbeat with his stethoscope still around his neck.Didn't the director,cameraman of the other people in the filming set noticed that.Not even the editors in the last stage.What a joke.Or maybe the doctor was just another mental retard?
  
  By the way,at the end of the serial,at leat Prasaad should have been told the fact.Only that would be fair after all the things he had done to his real family.
  
  Well there are many other nice things in the show,especially some stories told by Chitti,Ramu and Krishna.The best was the prayers for the rain questioning ones faith.
  
  The selection of actors for their role was simply top notch.Everybody portrayed their character at their best.None could have done it better.Thumbs up for the casting crew.
  
  Best sound effects award is for the scene when Chitti slapped Velumani & when Eswara Paandi bashed Velumani up.Bravo.Superb sound editing.But next time,try to make the background sould like footsteps less clear.It breaks the silence and really annoys everybody.
  
  And Velumani,your second voice when speaking seriously was a real thriller.Keep it up.
  
  Best joke was when Sri immitated Velumani and Prabavathi to pull a fight in front of the court.
  
  As for the other comments above,this is definately another typical Tamil serial only a litter better cmpater to the rest.Stories should reflect real life situations where happy endings are very very rare.
  
  Chitti II should be better if there are any ideas for it.

  I'm from Malaysia. Chitti is somewhere is 340th episode here. ASTRO is showing 1.5 episode per da, everyday. I wanted to know in details - Who killed Velumani. What happen to Sarada Illam. What happen to Prasad and Praba. What happen to Brinda and danial. What happen to Seenu and OM. What happen to Yogi and Sakhti. What happen to Ramu, Saradha, Vaithegi and the mother of all evil ?
