well guyz, if u wanna noe more about wat i'm tryin to say....
here are the typical scenarios....

1) you go to ur grandma's place for vacation n she goes "oh my gosh.... u've lost so much weight"

2) you visit ur aunt and she goes "hei.... u shud put on more weight"

3) u go to a wedding and pple go "ur so skinny, the sari doesn't suit u.."

i mean, how funky does it look, when u wear a sari n all ur flabs show on ur tummy? whoever gave them the impression that saris were not meant for thin gals???

one woman went "ewwk... ur collar bones r visible!"... r pple here aware that it's thought to be awesomely sexy in other countries if ur collar bones show?

and do u noe how embarassing it is to have fat actresses who look clumsy in their outfits? my overseas friends ask me "how come tamil actresses r fat??" n i dunno how to answer them!!!

  Are the judges and sponsors of beauty contests the only yard-stick for beauty in this world ? Isint it stupid that there are girls without a face worth looking at in these contests ?
  
  There are many very pretty fatsos and very ugly thinnos as fridge says. And 99 % of women do not have beauty paegents as a goal. In Indian TV, there are many pleasing anchors that are fat. The Sun anchors are irritating not so much because of their fat but because they are just not pleasing to look or hear.
  
  Fat or thin, what matters is health - of the mind and body. Which is what shows and which is what beauty is all about in the real world outside of catwalks.

  do pple realize that thin pple get offended too when such thins r said to them?

  I think it is very uncivilised to to say either 'ewk, you are so fat' or 'ewk, you are so thin'. Both comments are uncivilised. If someone is saying such a thing, just turn around and say 'ewk, you are so whatever'.

  A wise old lady once said to me, "you can stand on your head and scream blue murder, The world will still rotate and the sun will still rise in the morning, you can get in it and join the rat race or opt to stay out." There will always be people around you that will say, "Ewk fat or ewk you so thin", What you do about it will always be your decision.

  i wud like to wind up by saying, staying healthy and as a good person still go a long way in life n that it doesn't mattter wat others think of how we look like....
  
  just a point to note, if we r underweight, we shud try to look into special diets n nutritions dat will bring us to a normal weight....
  
  and if we r overweight, we shud also try to get to normal weight by carryin out special diets n by exercising....
  
  also, thin or fat or normal-sized, NEVER skip meals, ALWAYS exercise, and have good rest n sleep.... we shud all try our best to be healthier pple....n as we bcome healthier, we wud find ourselves bcomin happier n more successful pple as well....
  
  so lets all try our best....
  
  and let's all encourage each other instead of critisizing.....
