if any knows what happens if a database crosses one lakh records, is it possible if not any remedies,let me know

what database? 1,00,000 entries is no problem for any database including foxbase and ms access.

If u need to have millions of records, better use MS SQL server 7, MS SQL 2000, make sure you use indexes so that searching for any particular record would be very quick & efficent.

Oracle would take it coolly.. although I have seen MsAccess crying if it crosses 80000 records of say 256 bytes each.
