  Oh, come on! by the same standard Shakespeare's major works have to be thrown out of the window. If Vairamuthu is PG-13, Shakespeare in "Romeo and Juliet", "Midsummer Night's Dream" is in the realm of R/NC/X rating.
  Both of them are pre-eminent poets at heart who had to entertain audiences consisting of both men and women by catering to their idiosyncracies. If they tickle masqueline fancy at times, they balance it with a sensitive portrayal of women better than most at other times. You don't have to throw the baby with the bath water.

  Berating talented people by ascribing their works to their wives or others is a very common tactic of attcking them. Einstein's theory of relativity is ascribed by anti-semites to his wife who on her own was an excellent physicist; Shakespeare's works are routinely credited to Sir Walter Raleigh, and Queen Elizabeth. So it is natural to assume dark motives when posed with statements of that sort. Of course you don't get overly upset in such a situation when your favorite person is under such an attack. You expect like diamonds all the heat and pressure will make the truly talented shine.
