Stupid Veerapan killed Nagappa..The latest news ...Nagappa's dead body found in forest.What a crazy idiot this veerappan who didn't realise the trouble caused by him to others.

  Did Veerappan claim he killed Nagappa?
  
  As I recall reading in Hindu, in one of Veerappan's tapes, he is said to have let Nagappa go, because Nagappa was very sick and that he could not take care of him.
  
  Veerappan might have killed 12000 people, but he seems to be more principled than most of our politicians.
  
  Veerappan saga has benefitted our corrupt politicians more than Veerappan himself. Who is going to fight for the cause of those innocent people, who were raped, maimed and killed by our venerable STF and other state sponsored thugs?
  Is there any one out there who is going to fight for those in detention who were tortured and killed by our police goondas?
  
  Do we really know that it was Veerappan who killed Nagappa? Politicians in the opposition (RSS and BJP) have more to gain by getting Nagappa killed! Do we really know that Nagappa was not killed by a hired assassin?
  
  Even the worst critics of Veerappan know that Veerappan does not shoot a person from behind.
  
  Yes.. Yes he has killed elephants to make a living. And that is the way, his forefathers made a living. Yes.. yes, he cut down sandalwood trees to be sold at a discount price to our politicians, so that he could make a living.

  sometime back, near sathyamangalam area, veerapan and 2 of his gang mates got into a bus.
  
  Such was the welcome they got! ppl admired him (or is it fear?) and got autographs.
  
  He is heroworshiped in near by villages.
  
  I do agree with madurai veeran, that politicians in the opposite party gain more by shri.nagappa's death.
  
  veerapan is made the scape goat!
  
  Definitely he is not too hasty to kill him!

That even continued in the this topic.. additionally he even supporting Veerapan for his adapted life style .. May be he will start supporting Naxalites in the other postings.. MV, If you can't control your itching to avenge your own weakness, ultimately you will end up loosing all your credibility.

  MV's credibility is not the point, and moreover MV does not need anyone to certify his consistent stand in issues regarding brutal and unilateral enforcemet of dictatorialism in the name of enforcing law & order.

  I just wanna ask all the people who have participated/ gonna participate in this discussion thread :

  Somebody here said that 'hostages lives aren't counted as important as an ex-ministers life or an actors life....sure buddy...look at it this way...
  
  It doesn't matter if a 'former' Pm of a nation orders his troops to kill and destroy the indigenous freedom fighters of a neighbouring state and burn their priceless libraries and look-with-glee- when his soldiers use the invaluable books of that culture and people as toilet papers...and rape and kill thousands innocent civilians ........... but if the former PM who ordered that bloodshed is avenged, then all hell will break loose, and no matter what his death would have to be paid with butchering a nation - a culture, nothing less......

  I am not trying to defend Veerappan for all the murder and mayhem. I am only trying to highlight the other aspect of this issue, which much of our elitist mass media has conveniently ignored.
  
  Agreed - Veerappan killed about 120 people - some of them in self-defense. How many people has the STF, BSF and the super duper commandos from Delhi kill in and around Sathyamangalam? How many innocent poor people did they maim and torture in the process of finding out the hideouts of Veerappan? How many innocent poor people did our state sponsored goondas kill while the suspects were in detention? How many innocent poor women did they rape? How many poor people were forced to marry these poor women who got impregnated by these b-astard thugs who are trying to save humanity from this one Veerappan bandit? Has anyone voiced their outrage against the atrocities of these state sponsored thugs, on whom some 15-20 crores of ruppees has been spent to catch one forest brigand? With that kind of money, some 40,000 people people in Sathyamangalam neighborhood could have been provided a decent shelter and a means of livelihood!! Has any our intellectuals ever thought about that? These state sponsored thugs go and camp out and have a big party and when things get boring go and rape the poor women in the neighborhood.   Are they prepared to go after those who were looting our forests and decimating our wild-life through one Veerappan?
  
  Let me come to the Nagappa episode. Our Thirumathi JJ claims Veerappan also has AK47 and so the 27 or so, spent shells found around the place where Nagappa's body was found could have come from Veerappan brigade's AK47s!! Well, there are bullet marks on nearby trees too. It was just one bullet that killed Nagappa. Are we to believe that Veerappan and Co. were doing target practice?
  What were those two Maruti Sumoa(?) with our venerable STF thugs doing there in their Ayappa pilgrim outfit? The STF thugs from TN never cared who they were shooting at, so long as they can claim they killed a member of the Veerappan brigade!
  
  It is also possible that amma JJ and her RSS/JanSangh/BJP cohorts sent the STF to specifically kill Nagappa - so that they can embarass Karnataka govt. In the dirty Indian politics, anything is possible.
