Please express. Thanks.

Madurai,
As per the recent research stem cells can be extracted from deciduous teeth. Good. That will end the moral issues.

I mean we will not need embryos. What we create from these stem cells can still be problem !

This subject is really mystical. We have enough clues in Thirumanthiram.
Cremation or burial - it is depending upon the belief system a clan follows as per their Guru. Even among those happened to be born to Brahmin parents, burial is done for the Yogis / those truly renounced - as one is not sure whether the soul has departed on its will for ever or not.
The AdiSaivas among Tamils do not cremate basically due to this belief. That was their mission rather - to live eternally. There are numerous instances of such souls coming back after the Samadhi state. Even among the AdiSaivas, the first born if dies young would be cremated. Why? Think of it!
Btw, Saint Basava, who happened to born in a Brahmin family had founded a sect (Veera Saiva)which follows its own ways. They don't even perform the annual rituals. They believe that the soul lived as a staunch Saiva would sure merge with Sivam - º£Åý ÌÚ¸¢î º¢ÅÁ¡Ìõ and hence no comeback.

Madurai,
>> But then, one day when 99% of the cells in your body are still alive, your heart decides to quit and the warm flesh that you were after all your life has become a corpse, that you don't even want to touch. What happened to the beautiful woman whose flesh you craved for? Strange.. isn't it?? >>
Yes ofcourse. You have explained the plain truth in a very nice way. When a man is alive they say "avar" but the moment he's gone it becomes "athu". That's all about life.

PN Kumar,
Thanks for the information. Yogis do not have to do KarmaakkaL. So I think even the rituals that need to be done when someone dies will not be done for them. It's only for people who are a part of a family. For most of the yogis, sidhars etc the body will not decompose at all.
Ramalinga AdigaLaar, RamaNa Maharishi are examples.

P.N.Kumar,
Who are AdiSaivas? Why do they cremate those who die young? I thought according to Hindu beliefs a deceased young person (read virgin) should not be cremated, regardless of caste.

Has anyone seen or have true information about some yOgis whose bodies stayed without decomposing, smells etc after death? Please give details about the name of the yogi, and the place etc.
