  One incident in Veeramani's life, which many may not be knowing.
  
  There was a milad-un-nabi (prophet's b'day) procession which was to assemble in the Seerani Arangam, Marina Beach. This procession went through the Ayodhya Kuppam which is enclosed by the Thiruvallikeni(triplicane). This place is the forte of Veeramani. While passing through the processionists(fanatic muslim mob) misbehaved with some fisher women(veeramani belonged to the fisher caste). Immediately Veeramani's fellows started attacking the processionists.
  
  The processionists were large in number(around 15,ooo), veeramani's fellows and the fisher youth were hardly 300, still they immediately retaliated and in the shootout which followed 6-7 muslim terrorists died.
  
  Moreover, in the riots that followed, almost every muslim shop in Triplicane, Ice House area(which also is adjacent to the Ayodhya Kuppam and Matankuppam of Veeramani) was looted, torched. Later, the muslim fanatics could never shout pro-pakistan slogans or misbehave with the Hindu womenfolk.
  
  Ofcourse, I am not justifying the attacks on innocent muslims and the looting of the muslim shops , just this incident came to my mind.
  
  Violence always ends with violence!
  
  and i support police action! This was a trend started by Karunanidhi and part of the credit should go to him only.
  
  I only wish that the Maharashtra police follows this example and finish the Dawood gang!
